Infrared Radiation in Basic Education and Teacher Training: an interdisciplinary approach
Infrared radiation. Interdisciplinarity. Pedagogical Moments. Natural Sciences. Teacher Training.
The present work is the result of a research on Infrared Radiation and its Technologies, observing the pertinence and relevance of this theme in the Teaching of Natural Sciences in Basic Education. We sought to build didactic-pedagogical subsidies for the development of interdisciplinary and contextualized activities in Science Teaching to bring the school reality closer to different social practices of reference, especially those from the scientific and technological world. The educational product was designed as a workshop for teachers undergoing initial training in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The workshop was planned as a didactic sequence structured and based on the didactic-pedagogical proposal of Três Pedagogical Moments (3MPs). Among the main results, it is expected to contribute to and enrich the initial training of teachers for the teaching of Natural Sciences that include interdisciplinarity as a teaching practice and encourage them to be multipliers of these actions in their future work environments.
