SUMMARY:

The Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) defines professional Master Course as a modality of Stricto Sensu post-graduation that offers professional courses, aiming the scientific and applying training of teachers from Basic Education and/or professionals from formal and not-formal teaching in the diverse fields of knowledge. In this sense, the focus is on Professional Master Course in the Natural Science and Mathematics Teaching (CMPECNM) created in the first half of 2002 to qualify, in the master level, students of graduating course for teaching or other graduates since working in a teaching activity. The importance of this study is to register the trajectory of this Professional Master Course related to the individual representation of the teachers and the members of the Professional Master Course of Teaching. For this reason, the thematic is based on the following question: how teachers and students (formers) from the Post-graduation in Natural Sciences and Mathematics (PPGECNM), in the first years of the course, developed their educational products in the context of the Professional Master Course in Teaching? To answer this question, it has the main aim to do a historiographic study related to the coordinators, teachers and students comprehension about the educational product from the Professional Master Course from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), from 2002 to 2016. This data has a temporal limit to 2016 due to the curricular structure of the course that offers the subject Development and Evaluation of Instructional Materials, whose program proposes creation and evaluation of educational products. The methodological proceedings is Oral History, to make possible a historiographical writing in the Professional Master Course PPGECNM/UFRN based on theoretical approach of Meihy (2005), Alberti (2004), Lang (2011) and Mathematical Education (GHOEM). The review of oral testimony has focus on the comprehension participants perceptions (coordinators, teachers and students of this Program) and it aims to analyze the narrative of the narratives (CURY; SOUZA; SILVA, 2014) to identify some peculiar and ordinary elements that make sense to the collaborators in this context. The educational product is a video that can be used as an audio-visual technology with pedagogical issues named: “Informative video related to the importance of educational products to the Mathematics teacher” that has educational and motivational characteristics, presenting general information about educational products created by the students from CMPECNM/UFRN, detaching the importance of these products to the Mathematics classes, explaining how to access them. At last, the narrative analyze of the narratives points the interviewers comprehension to the educational products is not linear and harmonious, however, over time and consolidation of the Master Course, the process is according to the Capes’ rules (elaboration, application, evaluation and validation of education product), after reflections and discussions among teachers, during the meeting of the college of this Program or among some them, in informal meetings, that have as result the subject Development and Evaluation of Instructional Materials.
