SUMMARY:

Introduction: Stroke sequelae generate substantial implications in the daily lives of patients and their functionality. Functioning can be defined as a positive dynamic interaction of several domains, considering the biopsychosocial model of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health (ICF). Given this, knowing the factors related to the functionality and disability of these patients can help in the prediction and management of complaints about the functionality of these patients. Objectives: To analyze the factors related to the functionality and disability of post-stroke patients considering the ICF model. Methodology: An observational, analytical, and cross-sectional study will be carried out following the STROBE guidelines. The study will be carried out in two cities in Rio Grande do Norte: Santa Cruz and Natal. It is estimated select 100 subjects to determine the outcomes of the cross-sectional study. Patients will undergo assessments of motor, cognitive, sleep, urinary incontinence, disability, quality of life, and depressive symptoms. Data will be analyzed using the SPSS 20.0 program (Statistical Package for Social Science) attributing a significance level of 5% for all statistical tests.
