PREVALENCE OF LOSS OF SMELL AND TASTE AND CLINICAL CORRELATIONS IN INDIVIDUALS WITH COVID-19.

Objective: This study aim to investigate the prevalence of loss of smell and taste in individuals infected with COVID-19 and correlate with clinical symptoms. Methodology: A descriptive study will be carried out with a survey using an online form, using the resources of the Google Docs platform, being structured through the use of a sociodemographic questionnaire, a clinical investigation questionnaire and a self-reported symptoms investigation form. A sample will consist of 390 individuals, aged 18 years or older and positive for COVID-19. Results: hope that the results can contribute to the presentation and understanding of the profile of those infected by COVID-19, which show complaints of loss or loss of smell and taste, can contribute to the design of the most prevalent clinical statistics.
